Conwy Council

Teckna Groups drilling division succesfully tendered for the installation of a water borehole to supply Conwy Councils first allotment development for 100 years.  This involved drilling and lining a borehole to 60m for the water to supply the allotments.  To continue with the environmental theme a solar powered borehole pump was installed and powered by three solar panels built into a protective frame and enclosed with environmentally sourced timber.  The borehole delivered the water to the highest point on the site wher a below ground storage tank was installed and float switch to turn the pump on/off as required.  Water was then supplied around the allotment with below ground pipe work installed to the local stand pipes.
