This was recently completed through the oil shales to final depths. Artesian well pressures were encountered on the first borehole of 1.8m water head and continued throughout the drilling of the field. This led to further pumping equipment being introduced onto the site to deal with the high water volumes during the loop installation until the bore was sealed with grout tremmied into the borehole.
